Senior Sales Specialist - Data and Feeds

About the role

LSEG is looking for a Senior Sales Specialist to join its growing cross-regional APAC team. The role leads and structures sales of data solutions across the financial sector and other industries, targeting clients who need data, analytics and infrastructure for their operations. You will work alongside Account Managers on all sales (new, cross-sells and up-sells) for Data and Feeds Solutions in the assigned territory, with regular travel around the region. The position focuses on gross sales, with possible territory expansion depending on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Cover the assigned market and segment it for data solutions
• Structure, seek and close deals creatively
• Develop the sales strategy within the assigned territory or account base
• Build long-term relationships with professionals across the targeted industries
• Deliver customer demonstrations of data science-related product offerings
• Work closely with account managers, solution consultants and customer success managers to drive revenue growth

Required profile

• 5+ years of industry, sales or market experience
• Proven track record in a quota-bearing sales environment
• Deep understanding of financial markets and their market data requirements
• Strong sales closing ability and proven selling skills
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills
• Experience driving sales strategies
