Senior Associate – Materials Planning & Logistics

About the role

SC Johnson is seeking a Senior Associate to lead materials planning and support production schedules across its global supply chain. You will work closely with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to ensure product availability while driving inventory efficiency and cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for RPMs based on production plans and provide forecasts to suppliers.
• Conduct capacity analysis for key RPMs, flag risks, and alert relevant departments.
• Develop delivery plans aligned with detailed production schedules to ensure smooth execution.
• Control inventory, especially seasonal and discontinued RPMs, to reduce SLOB inventory and write‑off costs.
• Review master data and processes to identify KPI improvement opportunities.
• Support warehouse and transportation cost‑saving projects through data collection, benchmarking, and root‑cause analysis.
• Analyze third‑party cost‑to‑serve and service level compliance to uncover operational efficiencies.
• Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste in warehousing processes.
• Own the Logistics Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) framework and act as auditor across clusters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in materials planning or logistics.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational skills, self‑starter attitude and team‑player mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP ECC (SAP APO is a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and tools.
