Test Engineer - Laboratory Experiments (Shenzhen)

About the role

Regal Rexnord is hiring a test engineer for a fully onsite position at its Shenzhen office. The role manages experiments so that they deliver results meeting the objectives within the planned timeframe, and covers planning, resource coordination, equipment development and laboratory management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the expectations and progress of experiments so they meet objectives within the planned timeframe.
• Plan and allocate experiments reasonably according to personnel and equipment utilisation.
• Coordinate resources and help team members complete their assigned experiments.
• Develop new experimental methods or new test equipment, and maintain existing test programmes (LabVIEW/PLC).
• Support future experimental needs and optimise processes, methods or test equipment.
• Manage laboratory 6S and safety, and supervise members to keep a good testing environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechatronics, Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a testing laboratory.
• Good reading and writing English.
• Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and willingness to work hands-on.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of PLC or LabVIEW logic, able to maintain and troubleshoot (deep programming not required).
• CAD software such as SolidWorks or SolidEdge is a plus; experience with similar products such as motors and brakes is also a plus.
