About the role
Regal Rexnord is hiring an Application Engineer in Changzhou City. This is a fully onsite position carried out at the designated Regal Rexnord office. The role works closely with sales and product management to turn customer needs into product specifications and leads sample design, prototyping, testing and customer follow-up until approval.
Key responsibilities
- Work with sales and product management to understand customer needs, convert them into product and prototype requirements, and lead sample design, prototyping, testing and customer-side tracking until approval.
- Respond quickly to customer feedback and visit customers as needed to help solve application problems.
- Review drawings and BOMs for new model releases (NMR) and engineering change requests (ECR).
- Lead material cost-out (MCO) projects and give technical support to MCO projects led by other departments.
- Work with the manufacturing team on pilot runs, solve technical problems, and carry out motor failure analysis and solutions for returned units.
- Complete other duties assigned by the manager.
