Technical Business Development Specialist, Principal (Creo)

About the role

PTC is hiring a Principal-level Technical Business Development Specialist in Beijing. The role works closely with existing and prospective clients, PTC's client teams and the wider PTC ecosystem, and supports the CAD business leadership team in executing the go-to-market strategy for Creo across China. It suits a seasoned Creo subject matter expert who can build a custom technical value-selling approach for China-based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with core client teams to understand their engineering workflows and business challenges, pinpoint where Creo delivers value, build tailored solution roadmaps and grow the annual contract value (ACV) pipeline.
• Partner with client sales teams to co-create deal strategies, lead technical solution communications throughout the sales cycle and guide client teams on solutions.
• Integrate market and industry knowledge into product messaging, keep the CAD business leadership team updated on developments in China, and feed trend insights to the go-to-market team.
• Build long-term trusted relationships with key stakeholders, recommend solutions with conviction and resolve complex business scenarios.
• Support regional marketing teams by providing expert content for Creo product launches and industry events.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation and end-to-end understanding of engineering design and manufacturing workflows.
• Hands-on experience with digital transformation workflows and deep expertise in the full Creo solution suite.
• Recognized Creo subject matter expert with 8-12+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to build trust with client stakeholders and communicate solution recommendations clearly and confidently.
