Service Sales Specialist

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY (CHINA) LTD. is looking for a Service Sales Specialist in Beijing. Hitachi Energy Service is a lifecycle partner that helps customers manage assets from installation and commissioning through upgrades, repair and extension to replacement and decommissioning. The specialist works with customers and partners to develop service projects, including extension, retrofit and spare-parts business.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers regularly to develop service project opportunities and collect feedback
• Receive RFQs, register them in Salesforce, assess them and assign support tasks to technical and commercial teams
• Maintain the service-project pipeline in Salesforce for better business forecasting
• Analyse RFQs, run risk reviews, define technical solutions and gather technical documentation and cost data
• Calculate bidding prices, set pricing strategies, prepare bid documents and follow up negotiations
• Support contract signing, register contracts in SAP, and hand over awarded contracts to the project delivery team
• Use digital tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Copilot and Power BI dashboards to support customer interaction and service execution
• Ensure compliance with regulations and uphold the company's values of safety and integrity

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above; mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
• Over five years of sales or sales support experience, with good knowledge of DISC products
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Good communication, presentation and customer orientation, and a team player
