Process Support Engineer – Display (ALD) – Hefei/Chengdu

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer you will guide display‑related products through their full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site installations, system diagnostics and complex equipment repairs. You will collaborate closely with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced semiconductor processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑visibility customer support through on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex ALD and related equipment.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data statistically, and compile detailed reports on challenging process engineering studies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root‑cause analyses, and resolve difficult process and product problems.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build trust and achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) process development and optimization.
• Proficiency with process characterization tools such as XRR, ellipsometry, SEM, TEM, XPS, FTIR.
• Experience in DOE, SPC and statistical data analysis.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 75% of the time.
