ELDS China Secondary Switchgear LPL Manager and Company GM

About the role

This position leads the strategy of ELDS China Secondary Switchgear and reports to the Business Manager - Commercial & Operations. It covers the financial KPIs (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet) and manages all operations, including production, engineering, procurement, quality, Opex and logistics, while building a customer-driven, high-performance team.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement strategy aligned with targets set by the Local Division and Global Business Line
• Find new business opportunities and network to position ABB as a preferred supplier with marketing and sales, and drive technical development and productivity improvements
• Ensure achievement of revenue, operating EBITA, operating cash flow, productivity, on-time/on-quality/on-cost delivery and cost reduction
• Execute the quality strategy, monitor and benchmark processes, ensure manufacturing complies with applicable standards and improve productivity, delivery and costs
• Deliver operational targets such as ROTD and lead time to improve customer satisfaction (NPS)
• Implement HSE and business compliance standards and ensure a safe working environment
• Ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules and policies, and share best practices across the organization
• Organize, staff and direct the area of responsibility, develop talent, appoint managers and review their effectiveness

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, business management or a related profession
• Solid experience and a track record of P&L management; experience in the electrical equipment industry preferred
• Fluent English and the ability to present well internally and externally
• Good learning ability and knowledge of new technologies
