Senior Partner, Client & Growth

About the role

Kantar, a leading marketing data and analytics business, is looking for a Partner, Client & Growth to lead strategic client relationships in Shanghai. You will work closely with senior clients to frame business problems, identify growth opportunities and turn consumer, brand and market insights into strategic recommendations. The role combines client leadership, commercial ownership, thought leadership and consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Grow senior client relationships by becoming a trusted advisor on critical business, brand and growth challenges.
• Build a strong business pipeline through existing client growth, new client development and collaboration across Kantar solutions.
• Shape strategic client thinking by linking consumer insight, brand performance, category dynamics and market trends to business decisions.
• Lead consultative engagements that go beyond research delivery to influence marketing, innovation, portfolio and growth strategies.
• Own revenue, profitability, pricing and forecasting for the client portfolio, applying strong commercial discipline and account planning.
• Deliver consultancy and insight solutions that create measurable value for clients.
• Share thought leadership and best practices across clients, teams and the wider Kantar network.

Required profile

• Experience leading senior client relationships in consumer insights, strategy consulting, management consulting or insight-led business advisory environments.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience growing client portfolios, developing new business and managing revenue and profitability.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business questions, build strategic frameworks and turn complex challenges into clear recommendations.
• Experience synthesising consumer, brand, category and market intelligence into actionable insights and growth strategies.
• Strong understanding of FMCG and/or beverage categories, able to engage senior marketing and commercial leaders as a trusted advisor.
