Sales Service Representative

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is hiring a Sales Service Representative for its Qingpu, Shanghai site, on site. The role supports sales by keeping orders, samples and customer inquiries moving quickly and accurately through internal systems, and acts as a key communications link between customers and the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales targets by removing execution barriers across sampling, ordering, delivery and after-sales.
• Handle customer inquiries, samples and orders so they move quickly and accurately through internal systems.
• Manage sample coordination, including collecting customer application requirements and coordinating with principal sales and technical teams on sample preparation.
• Follow up on customer trials to drive conversion from sampling to commercial orders.
• Ensure accurate order entry, confirmation and coordination with distributor customer service and logistics teams for on-time delivery.
• Monitor at-risk orders, handle first-level delivery or documentation issues and escalate quality or technical issues with clear facts.
• Maintain structured records of samples, orders, issues and resolutions to protect customer trust and improve sales pipeline visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline.
• Strong written communication in English and Chinese, and strong verbal communication and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work accurately with data and operational details, with good analytical and quantitative skills.
• Good job knowledge, problem-solving ability, results-driven mindset and strong customer orientation.

Required skills

• Solid proficiency in Excel and strong understanding of system logic.
• Good working knowledge of SAP systems, with experience in forecasting and statistical tools.
