Sr Director, Global Alliance Management

About the role

The Global Alliance Management role leads and strengthens strategic partnerships with key accounts, combining strategic leadership, cross-functional coordination and governance oversight to drive long-term value and sustainable growth. It establishes and optimizes partnership frameworks, aligns internal teams with client organizations and enables complex, multi-functional programs across clinical, lab, technology and commercial domains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end alliance management for strategic accounts, including account strategy, planning and partnership development.
• Design and implement governance structures supporting executive engagement, decision-making and performance monitoring.
• Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, including C-suite interactions.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across global teams such as clinical, lab, technology, finance and legal.
• Oversee project execution, manage escalations and ensure delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support business development through opportunity identification, solution shaping, bidding strategy and expanding partnerships into broader service areas.
• Monitor partnership health, performance metrics and governance KPIs.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, CRO or related industry, including project management, portfolio management, clinical operations, therapeutic strategy lead, business development and/or other operational functions.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional, matrixed teams in a complex global environment.
• Demonstrated stakeholder and alliance management skills and strong cross-cultural communication.
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English.
