Principal, Strategic Consulting - Patient Centered Solutions

About the role

IQVIA's Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) team leads the measurement of the patient experience, combining strategic consulting with scientific knowledge to design research that incorporates the patient voice into the development and commercialization of new medicines. As Principal, you maintain and strengthen relations with current clients, develop business and create expansion opportunities for the PCS team, and take responsibility for both selling and delivering team projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver strategies that address complex client issues in the patient science field
• Lead sales efforts, including uncovering opportunities and responding to proposals, to win PCS work
• Oversee PCS delivery teams executing consulting, scientific and analytic projects
• Provide direction, advice and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams
• Lead PCS services portfolio building and thought leadership initiatives
• Identify opportunities to expand PCS consulting service offerings
• Support the development of the PCS team and the global community within IQVIA

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline such as biological sciences, public health, epidemiology, psychology, sociology or health economics
• Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare consulting within a Professional Services or CRO business, with evidence of career progression
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, managing client/project revenue, and leadership and people development
• Experience generating or communicating robust clinical data suitable for regulatory bodies, payers or publication; exposure to COA/PRO, patient preference and/or HEORM preferred

• Rapidly understanding new scientific content and engaging with clients and project teams
• Written and verbal communication, including presentations, chairing meetings, external conference presentations, workshop facilitation and business and report writing
