Practice Leader, Consumer Health Technology

About the role

The Practice Leader of Consumer Health Technology leads a team of technical experts and Services Solution consultants in Shanghai. Working closely with the sales team, the leader grows the technology business by selling IQVIA technology products and integrating them with China's digital ecosystems. The role covers strategy, business development, execution of business plans, leadership of the IQVIA Consumer Health technology team, and talent management.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth through IQVIA-owned digital products or customised solutions, and identify internal stakeholders and partnerships to open new opportunities
• Manage and develop a high-performing, results-oriented team, including performance reviews, salary planning, development plans, recruiting and day-to-day personnel management
• Build integrated digital solutions with IQVIA global and local units and create demand and engagement
• Lead change and stakeholder management, including large-scale, multi-country technology implementations (CSAT and profitability)
• Set the strategic client and segment agenda, plan global accounts and maintain a database of competitor intelligence
• Create annual segment and account plans with financial targets and roadmaps, and hold regular account meetings

Required profile

• Minimum 6-10 years of varied experience in digitalisation for life science companies, especially in sales, marketing and medical areas
• Preferred: delivery experience implementing CRM or other consumer health applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work with all levels of an organisation
• Situational awareness, listening, problem-solving and collaborative, influential communication style
• Ability to implement innovation and change; AI innovation experience with consumer health companies is a plus
