Senior Lead Officer - Indirect Procurement

About the role

Johnsonelectric is looking for a Senior Lead Officer in Jiangmen to lead indirect procurement and motor production machine maintenance support. The role covers procurement projects for the P200 and Jiangmen and overseas plants, and works closely with internal departments to keep motor production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support indirect procurement for the Automation Line (China, overseas, line maintenance spares) and machine maintenance across motor production levels so that plant operations stay smooth.
• Own procurement projects for the P200, Jiangmen and overseas plants.
• Handle daily inquiries, cost analysis for new lines, fungible lines and suck-in lines, and run price negotiations.
• Conduct market research and data analysis for relevant automation material categories.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement quality improvement plans and work on various cross-departmental projects.
• Manage team performance and drive the Orange Cost Saving initiative, ensuring line modifications are completed within the target timeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8-10 years of indirect procurement experience.
• Mechanical engineering background preferred.
• Familiarity with automation issues such as PLC, AOI and robots is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to coordinate with departments and suppliers.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
