Lead Officer - Indirect Procurement

About the role

Johnsonelectric is hiring a Lead Officer in Jiangmen to support indirect material procurement (machinery and equipment parts) for its overseas plants, helping to accelerate automation projects. The role also covers procurement projects for the Shenzhen and Jiangmen plants.

Key responsibilities

• Support indirect material procurement (machinery and equipment parts) for overseas plants to speed up automation projects
• Handle procurement projects for the Shenzhen and Jiangmen plants
• Manage daily inquiries, cost analysis and price negotiations
• Carry out market research and data analysis for relevant material categories
• Work with other departments to develop and implement quality improvement plans
• Contribute to various projects with internal departments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• Engineering background preferred
• 5-8 years of indirect procurement experience
• Familiarity with automation topics such as PLC, AOI and robots is highly preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems and office software
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to coordinate with departments and suppliers
