Senior Key Account Manager – China Food Ingredients

About the role

Ocean Spray Ingredients is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead business development and strategic account management for China’s bakery and food manufacturing channels. You will own end‑to‑end key‑account management, acquire new top‑tier customers and grow multi‑year partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual sales plans, long‑range plans and joint business plans for national accounts.
• Conduct deep customer insight analysis, build stakeholder maps and nurture executive‑level relationships.
• Lead full‑cycle solution selling, build business cases and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate internal R&D, culinary, application‑lab and supply‑chain resources to deliver custom ingredient solutions.
• Oversee sales forecasting, CRM data quality and mitigate supply risks for large orders.
• Gather market intelligence on China food trends and represent Ocean Spray at trade events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10‑12+ years of B2B food‑ingredient sales experience in China, with a focus on bakery and snack manufacturing.
• Proven track record acquiring strategic top‑tier customers and driving profitable growth.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, with up to 50% domestic travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
