Account Sales

About the role

As an Account Sales professional at Applied Materials, you will act as the primary liaison between the company and its customers, driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions that align with Applied Materials' product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the company to customers and vice‑versa in all sales‑oriented activities.
• Identify customer needs and develop/implement complex sales strategies.
• Present Applied Materials products and services to existing or new customers and coordinate demonstrations.
• Communicate product roadmaps and capabilities to customers and convey customer technology needs to internal product groups.
• Prepare pricing quotes, negotiate final prices, and submit documentation to book orders.
• Conduct follow‑up on accounts receivables and maintain appropriate coverage and documentation for all assigned customers.

Required profile

• Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline.
• Interprets business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
• May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
• Leads others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought.
