Project Manager – AIS Projects

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead AIS (Air‑Insulated Switchgear) projects from order hand‑over through delivery and closure. You will act as the central liaison between customers, sales, engineering, production, quality, supply chain, logistics, finance and service teams to ensure projects are executed smoothly and meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract requirements, technical and commercial scope, delivery terms and milestones, translating them into actionable project plans.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor and control project execution, including engineering document submission, material readiness, production progress, inspection, FAT arrangement, shipment preparation and delivery follow‑up.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to schedule, cost, quality, technical clarifications, customer changes, logistics and payment collection.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, provide status updates, manage expectations and support issue resolution.
• Support revenue recognition, on‑time delivery, cost control, claim prevention and payment collection.
• Lead or participate in project review meetings, lessons‑learned sessions and cross‑functional problem‑solving initiatives.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Department Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management or order execution within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
