About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Non‑Technical Project/Program Management professional to support project objectives in Shanghai, China.

Key responsibilities

• Support specific project and program objectives, including outcome determination, milestones, viability studies and resource planning.
• Ensure projects are completed according to requirements, monitoring product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization and timeliness.
• Document all phases of project, program and process development and disseminate information to functional areas.
• Maintain compliance with company policies on notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.
• Undertake studies of new technologies and support data collection for materials and financial resources.

Required profile

• Demonstrated conceptual knowledge in own discipline and ability to broaden capabilities.
• Understanding of key business drivers and ability to apply them to work.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory responsibilities.
• Solves straightforward problems using technical experience and judgment.
• Impacts quality of own work and that of the team while working within guidelines and policies.
• Communicates complex information clearly in simple situations.
