Insights Analyst – Level 2

About the role

Join Meltwater's Client Insights team as a Level 2 Insights Analyst, creating bespoke reports and managing projects for enterprise clients. You will combine quantitative and qualitative media analysis to deliver actionable insights that guide business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex data sets, propose solutions and ensure accuracy with strong attention to detail.
• Handle ad‑hoc requests, conduct quality checks and maintain data‑quality control standards.
• Develop checklists, tracking tools, dashboards and visualisations for projects.
• Manage stakeholder interactions, align deliverables with client SLAs and monitor workflow efficiency.
• Identify new data sources, stay updated on industry changes and continuously improve reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably with mathematics or statistics coursework.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on analyst experience across diverse industries, preferably with enterprise clients.
• Experience in media insights, reporting or market research agencies is a strong plus.
• Customer‑centric mindset with understanding of PR and marketing KPIs.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel functions, formulas and data manipulation.
• Power Query for data transformation and analysis.
• Power BI for creating dashboards and visual reports.
• Data quality checking processes and use of Boolean search queries.
