IE Engineer – Manufacturing & Automation

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join its manufacturing operations in Nanjing. The role supports the plant’s standardized work framework, drives continuous improvement and ensures ergonomic safety across the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the plant’s standardized work procedures to guarantee operational consistency.
• Assess workplace ergonomics, identify risks and propose corrective actions to improve safety and regulatory compliance.
• Implement time‑management practices and assist in project evaluation activities.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen events and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to MAE design and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from early stages to prevent build‑in issues.
• Collect, analyse and report data to support process‑optimization efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing, health & safety regulations and continuous‑improvement methods.
• Strong willingness to learn, with good communication and coordination abilities.
• Analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
