Executive Assistant

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders in advancing the company’s mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. The role involves high‑level administrative support across multiple time zones and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage executive calendars, coordinate global travel, and organize meetings and events.
• Handle confidential information, prepare communications and presentations, and process expenses.
• Support HR data analysis, reporting, and planning for employee engagement initiatives such as China Belonging Week and HR townhalls.
• Build strong relationships across all organizational levels while maintaining professionalism and discretion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of executive assistant experience supporting senior leadership in a global corporate environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, strong organizational and time‑management abilities, and the capacity to work independently.
• Proven discretion handling confidential information and sound judgment in decision‑making.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with expense management systems and virtual meeting platforms.
• Ability to coordinate complex international travel and logistics.
