Director of Business Development

About the role

The Director of Business Development will lead the BD team to identify, evaluate and secure new hotel projects, driving both short‑term and long‑term growth for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic development plan to meet business targets.
• Lead the BD team through feasibility studies, financial projections, negotiations and deal closure.
• Build and manage a project pipeline, ensuring required conversion rates.
• Improve project quality, increase signed project numbers and survival rates.
• Monitor industry trends nationally and globally, maintaining a business development database.
• Maintain relationships with owners and investors for sustainable development.
• Represent the company at industry forums and public events.
• Perform on‑site visits and additional duties as required by the Group CEO.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hotel development experience with a well‑known brand.
• Proven leadership of a BD team and strong stakeholder management.
• Resourceful, results‑driven, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
