About the role
The Director of Sales will lead the sales team and allocate manpower resources to maximise revenue streams across key markets for Rosewood Guangzhou. The role involves shaping sales strategies for market segments and distribution channels and ensuring their execution aligns with industry best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement clear sales strategies for key market segments and distribution channels.
- Achieve rooms and partial catering sales objectives and yearly revenue targets for both Rooms & F&B.
- Manage a specific account base to drive room night production.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or Marketing preferred.
- 5–7 years of progressive sales experience in luxury/upscale hotels, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Fluent English; additional local language is a strong plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency in PMS (Opera) and Delphi FDC.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with revenue management systems.
