Chief of Staff

About the role

ActAI builds proactive applications for users who are not used to complex prompting, starting with an agent-first mobile communication app. Its Chief of Staff drives major priorities across ActAI and its portfolio of businesses in a hands-on operating role, moving across businesses and functions to solve difficult problems and take work from decision through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Drive major group priorities and cross-functional projects from start to completion.
• Identify business or execution problems, work through the details and drive solutions.
• Track priorities, decisions and performance across businesses, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through.
• Lead projects involving new businesses, market expansion, organisational changes or other group priorities.
• Analyse business performance, markets and opportunities and turn findings into actions.
• Work across product, technology, finance, people and operations depending on the problem.
• Step into areas where ownership is unclear or additional execution is needed.

Required profile

• Strong experience in a technology company, high-growth startup, strategy/operations role, top-tier consulting firm or your own startup.
• Track record of owning complex projects with measurable business outcomes.
• Able to learn unfamiliar businesses and functions quickly and get into the details.
• Hands-on operating style, able to do the analysis, build the plan and drive execution personally.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and commercial judgement, working through data, financials and business problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clear, structured thinking.
