Area Sales Manager - Chinese Portfolio

About the role

BIA Group sells, rents and provides after-sales services for equipment used in public works, mines, quarries and transport, operating in Europe, Africa and Asia. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for machine sales, project sales including SLA, turnover and P&L within the allocated area.

Key responsibilities

• Sales development in assigned countries, managing and expanding the customer portfolio and supporting subsidiaries in the area
• Implement and follow up customer satisfaction evaluation tools, prepare business plans and forecasts, and supervise quotations and orders
• Maintain relationships with BIA mining customers, transfer sales orders correctly to the sales administration service, and provide monthly reports on area developments
• Analyse the market, map customers, prepare customer visits and regularly visit the allocated area and mining sites
• Share customer, project and issue information with the after-sales department and manage the sales workforce

Required profile

• Degree in Business Management, Sales or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar position
• Fluent Mandarin and English (mandatory); French is a plus
• Willing and able to travel frequently to mining sites, with a valid international driving permit

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
