Technical Shopfloor Support Engineer – Line 1

About the role

The Technical Shopfloor Support Engineer on Line 1 ensures smooth production by analysing anomalies, managing non‑conformities and supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor. You will act as the bridge between operators, engineering and support functions to resolve technical issues quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and log production issues, including NCs and assembly anomalies.
• Perform technical analysis, create enriched documentation (DQN, concession notes) and generate rework or improvement work orders.
• Support disruption management by assessing the need for NC creation, completing NC forms and following up resolutions.
• Assist continuous‑improvement initiatives: raise work‑improvement proposals, conduct failure analysis and apply Lean waste‑elimination methods.
• Coordinate industrial‑asset requests, write specifications for new or modified jigs, tools and calibration.
• Manage work orders, flag blocked orders and prioritize execution in coordination with production control meetings.
• Promote EHS compliance on the shop floor, making rules transparent and addressing near‑miss incidents.
• Collaborate with quality teams to ensure product standards are met.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably on a shop‑floor.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to document technical findings clearly.
• Good communication skills to interact with operators, engineers and cross‑functional teams.

• SAP (work‑order and NC management)
