About the role

The MES Architect will lead the design and development of flexible, modular, reliable and scalable manufacturing software solutions. Working closely with the Product Manager, you will shape the high‑level architecture, define interfaces and ensure seamless system integration across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to design and develop a scalable manufacturing software architecture.
• Define high‑level architecture specifications, interfaces and system integration plans, and evaluate development effort.
• Establish development tools, processes, guidelines and coding standards and communicate them to the development team.
• Analyze, prioritize and execute tasks throughout the software development life‑cycle, automating and optimizing where possible.
• Maintain and improve development documentation and stay current with emerging software technologies.
• Coach and mentor team members and handle additional tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience using languages such as C#, Java and C/C++.
• Proven experience as a software architect, including 8+ years developing manufacturing systems such as MES, WMS, QMS or PMS.
• Strong background in manufacturing domain and at least 5 years solving end‑to‑end value‑chain business challenges.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications (ERP, MES, PLM, third‑party systems).
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and with PLC, HMI and SCADA technologies.
