Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, cross‑functional projects from concept through industrialisation. The role involves aligning project goals with business objectives, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring technical, operational and quality requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for concept development and industrialisation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration with universities, external suppliers, R&D, production engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Monitor project progress using KPIs and project management tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Prepare and deliver regular project updates and executive summaries to steering committees and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and internal quality systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices.
• Support change management and facilitate smooth handover to operations and production teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in mechanical or automation engineering, project management or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a manufacturing development environment.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, high‑impact projects from concept to industrialisation.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
