Structure Repair Engineer

About the role

The Structure Repair Engineer will analyse in‑service queries and damage reports for aircraft structures received from airline customers and MROs, and develop repair solutions that meet Airbus standards and certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse in‑service queries and damage reports from airline customers and MROs.
• Design repair solutions that comply with Airbus standards and certification requirements.
• Perform static and fatigue strength analysis on structural repairs using Airbus stress methods and tools.
• Prepare technical documentation for repair approval.
• Coordinate with the Design Office, In‑Service Customer Service, Airtac and other partners to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
• Consider airworthiness regulations, materials, processes, aerodynamic effects and other functional implications when proposing repairs.
• Support internal data collection, statistics and regular delivery reporting.
• Contribute to continuous technical improvement and digitalisation initiatives for the Daily Repairs team.
• Assist in achieving company objectives, including CSR and Airbus Operating System, and participate in the Follow‑The‑Sun 24/7 support strategy.

Required profile

• Entry‑level engineering graduate or equivalent.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a strong commitment to act with integrity.
• Willingness to support continuous technical improvement and innovation initiatives.

Required skills

• Strength analysis (static and fatigue) of aircraft structures.
• Repair design following Airbus standards.
• Use of Airbus stress analysis methods and related tools.
