Stress/Design Engineer Internship

About the role

Airbus Beijing is offering a structured engineering internship focused on stress and design analysis of aircraft components. The role provides hands‑on experience in designing and optimizing structural parts while ensuring product safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design structural components and assemblies, balancing weight, cost, performance and manufacturability.
• Use appropriate design and analysis tools to evaluate stress, load paths and safety margins.
• Identify and document technical activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support compliance with aerospace regulations and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver optimized design solutions.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate in Aerospace, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Strong interest in stress analysis and product design.
• Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to engineering integrity.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate technical findings.
