Sr Manager, Global Field Operations GCN

About the role

Siemens Healthineers is hiring a Senior Manager, Global Field Operations for its GCN business unit in Beijing. The role covers service operations for proton equipment, ensuring adherence to strategies, policies and processes, and driving business service, customer satisfaction and financial objectives across the assigned sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the site service strategy aligned with APAC and Global GFO business direction, maximise customer satisfaction and meet financial objectives.
• Implement company policies, programmes and guidelines, manage resources, and ensure employee productivity, growth and training.
• Manage the service budget, monitor financial performance and ensure revenue, cost, margin and payment targets are met.
• Analyse operational processes and escalation procedures, run training needs assessments and identify service improvement opportunities.
• Manage customer relations so that VPS equipment remains clinically available within contractual timeframes and complies with technical and safety guidelines.
• Lead the team, coach the site general manager and management team, and build strong links with APAC Operations and Engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with company and local safety policies, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet contractual deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 15 years of related experience.
• At least 8-10 years of people management or supervisory experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese; public speaking in Chinese depending on customer requirements.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, work onsite and occasionally coordinate system downtime from offsite, and to travel regionally and internationally up to 50% or more.

Required skills

• Desired: experience with HCM (e.g. Workday), CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP) systems, project management experience, and knowledge of medical device field service operations.
• Desired: strong interpersonal communication, leadership, problem-solving and empathy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
