Customer Service Engineer - Diagnostic Imaging Equipment

About the role

UIH is looking for a Customer Service Engineer based in Shanghai to install and support diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. The role works closely with the Customer Care Centre and the sales team, and requires extensive travel on an on-call rotation after training and certification.

Key responsibilities

• Install UIH diagnostic imaging equipment within a designated product range at customer sites.
• Work with the regional and headquarters Customer Care Centre to troubleshoot, maintain and update the designated product modalities under supervision.
• Attend service training courses and complete the UIH Professional Certificate to build competence in technical support.
• Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sales and after-sales technical support.
• Escalate issues when customer satisfaction is compromised and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Fulfill other tasks assigned by the subsidiary and HQ line managers.

Required profile

• Technical associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ideally previous field service experience fault-finding on electronic equipment.
• Strong communication and coordination with customers, customer-oriented service manner and team spirit.
• Flexible approach to work, travel and unsociable hours; valid driving licence and good driving record required.
• Willingness to travel extensively on an on-call rotation after training and certification.
• Visa sponsorship available.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the principles and structure of diagnostic imaging equipment (DR, CT, MR, PET, etc.); previous experience with such equipment strongly preferred.
• Good IT, Microsoft Office and networking infrastructure skills.
