Software Architect – AI

About the role

In this role, you have the opportunity to join the leading innovator in image‑guided therapy solutions as an AI Architect, driving the adoption of AI across our propositions. Together with partners, we improve patient health and save lives every day, everywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture and implementation of AI‑powered propositions that improve efficiency, workflow and clinical outcomes of minimally invasive procedures.
• Develop reference architecture, architecture road‑maps and AI technology road‑maps, including AI development tooling.
• Lead the Architecture & Platform Creation program to de‑risk and mature AI products and platforms.
• Scout, evaluate and partner with third‑party providers and suppliers that fit our AI solutions.
• Collaborate with other Philips businesses and corporate teams to share knowledge and platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software architecture, machine learning or AI solution development in a professional or enterprise environment.
• Experience in the medical device industry and building distributed cloud‑native and on‑prem software solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud and container hosting technologies and security.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with clinical, marketing, regulatory and quality teams.
• Experience developing computer‑vision algorithms with deep learning for video and audio processing.
