Senior Director, Advanced Sourcing

About the role

SharkNinja is looking for a senior‑level leader to define and execute its advanced sourcing strategy. Based in Shenzhen, the Senior Director, Advanced Sourcing will work closely with Product Development, Engineering, Innovation and Supply Chain teams to secure breakthrough technologies and build a resilient global supplier network that supports the company’s future product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement long‑term sourcing roadmaps for emerging components such as LED, advanced displays, motors, battery systems, camera and vision technologies, smart sensors and connectivity modules.
• Identify disruptive technologies and early‑stage suppliers, establishing early supplier involvement models to accelerate product innovation.
• Lead technology scouting, supplier due‑diligence, capability audits and investment assessments across China, Southeast Asia, North America, Europe, Japan and Korea.
• Partner with engineering and product teams during concept, architecture and design phases to ensure sourcing readiness for EVT, DVT, PVT and mass production.
• Negotiate strategic supply agreements, exclusivity arrangements and joint technology development programs with key global suppliers.
• Build a diversified, multi‑region supply network and manage geopolitical, tariff and capacity risks.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in technology‑focused sourcing or procurement.
• Strong track record of supplier partnership development and global supply‑chain risk management.
• Ability to influence product and engineering decisions through cost, manufacturing and risk perspectives.
• Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills for executive‑level stakeholder engagement.
