Segment & Business Development Manager - Battery Solutions & Energy Storage

About the role

Axalta is looking for a Segment & Business Development Manager for its Battery Solution & Energy Storage segment, working remotely from China. The role covers strategy, business development, key account management and distributor development within the battery and energy storage market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the segment's strategy, marketing plan and content based on customer needs
• Explore potential business opportunities and drive execution of strategic projects
• Optimize data management tools to define business opportunities and plan growth
• Manage key accounts, strengthen relationships and provide specifications to meet customer needs
• Develop and manage distributors to support business growth
• Work with the frontier sales team to achieve segment sales and growth targets
• Optimize communication strategy, including angle, content, tools and resources
• Support the sales force on new technologies and strategic projects with deep knowledge of product, technology, application and customer process

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above
• At least 10 years of relevant, successful business experience and strong industry knowledge
• Preferably related industrial experience
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to give clear direction to teams
