Sales and Support Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Sales and Support Manager to drive customer satisfaction, manage sales activities and support functions for Satair in Shanghai. The role works closely with the Head of Sales and Support and coordinates with Satair Beijing and other departments to achieve sales targets and gather market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the highest possible level of customer satisfaction and provide feedback to relevant Satair functions.
• Meet sales and marketing goals within the assigned sales area.
• Prioritize tasks in close cooperation with the Head of Sales and Support.
• Plan, manage and coordinate sales and activity plans together with the Head of Sales and Support and other Satair departments.
• Collect and feed market intelligence to the organization.
• Create and maintain customer account plans for the sales area.
• Provide regular reporting on customers, competitive landscape and market conditions.
• Develop and follow up on sales initiatives, pricing and quotations to optimise profit.
• Achieve the sales budget based on the total sales potential of the area.
• Contribute to quarterly reports and forecast figures for Satair Beijing.
• Develop product knowledge and monitor political, cultural and competitive factors.
• Inform the Head of Sales of any budget or plan divergences and propose corrective actions.
• Support cross‑selling and up‑selling strategies for growth accounts.
• Assist the Product Marketing Department with market information for suppliers.
• Comply with Satair’s management principles, credit policy, quality regulations, ethics and compliance policies.
• Optimise business procedures using Satair IT systems such as SAP, SVA and Business Objects.
• Identify inappropriate conditions in the organisation and propose solutions.
• Participate in occupational safety and health initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Professional experience in sales and customer support, preferably in the aviation or aerospace sector.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and ability to gather market intelligence.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams and senior management.
• Ability to analyse market conditions, pricing and competitive landscape.
• Commitment to compliance, ethics and integrity.
• Proactive attitude towards improving processes and procedures.
