Regional Business Manager – China

About the role

Sonihull, part of the Alfa Laval group, is seeking an experienced Regional Business Manager to lead the growth of its ultrasonic antifouling technology in China. You will act as the commercial and technical lead, working closely with Alfa Laval’s regional sales teams to embed Sonihull solutions into customer operations.

Key responsibilities

• Grow Sonihull’s business in China by collaborating with Alfa Laval’s regional sales companies.
• Develop and execute action plans that generate profitable opportunities and value‑based sales.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise, quotations and pricing proposals within approval limits.
• Act as the regional application and process expert, representing the customer’s voice.
• Manage and develop key accounts, fostering long‑term relationships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in business management or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, key account management or business development within industrial or maritime sectors.
• Strong track record of driving growth through collaboration with sales organisations.
• Ability to operate effectively in a matrix set‑up, balancing regional alignment with global product priorities.
• Fluent Mandarin and English (spoken and written) – regional language skills are an advantage.
