Project Manager – Commercial Stage Projects

About the role

As a Project Manager in the Program Integration Management department, you will drive commercial‑stage projects from development through production. You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external clients, ensuring technical and quality standards are met while delivering value to global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with CMC teams to align project requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and support late‑stage price negotiations.
• Communicate project progress, technical solutions, and quality benchmarks clearly to maintain high‑trust client relationships.
• Develop detailed project plans for small‑molecule synthesis, chemical processes, and production phases, defining milestones, allocating resources, and monitoring timelines.
• Leverage expertise in small‑molecule chemistry and process engineering to enforce quality standards and identify technical, delivery, and cost risks early.
• Conduct project reviews to document best practices, refine workflows, and resolve recurring challenges.
• Use data analysis and stakeholder feedback to propose hiring, training, or process‑optimization recommendations for the department.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of project‑management experience in small‑molecule production, chemical processes, or pharmaceutical commercialization.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) for complex client communications and documentation.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Basic data‑analysis/processing skills to support continuous improvement.
