Operation Specialist – JD Store Operations

About the role

The Operation Specialist will ensure stable and efficient JD store operations by managing inventory health, driving operational excellence, providing timely data support, and continuously improving the consumer experience. You will collaborate with internal business teams, supply chain, warehouse partners, customer service, logistics, and third‑party teams to support GMV growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain SKU‑level inventory tracking (days on hand, sell‑through, stock availability, campaign readiness).
• Partner with buyer and supply‑chain teams to optimise national warehouse allocation and logistics execution.
• Execute system operations such as code creation, conversion, order placement, tracking and inventory transfer.
• Identify and mitigate out‑of‑stock and overstock risks, supporting stock planning for major campaigns.
• Provide accurate operational data, integrate internal and external data sources, and optimise dashboards.
• Reduce manual workload by improving data handling processes and enabling faster decision‑making.
• Develop, maintain and enforce SOPs to ensure execution stability across product listings, promotions and workflows.
• Analyse consumer complaints, identify root causes across product, fulfillment, logistics or service, and drive cross‑functional resolutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory management and supply‑chain coordination.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and dashboards.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with business, logistics, warehouse and customer‑service teams.
• Focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
