Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Alfa Laval is looking for a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead the development and optimisation of local supply‑chain processes in Kunshan. You will work closely with the Global Supply Chain Manager to ensure local operations support global requirements, driving digital transformation and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead local supply‑chain meetings, aligning supply and demand with customers, suppliers, product groups and operations.
• Standardise, optimise and monitor supply‑chain processes following approved SOPs.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, collaborating with Alfa Laval Value Streams and the ONE ERP system.
• Ensure data accuracy in local supply‑chain systems and provide optimisation proposals.
• Establish and track KPIs such as inventory days, obsolescence, order‑fulfilment lead‑time.
• Participate in factory operational planning and support net‑zero and cost‑saving programmes.
• Analyse supply requirements, review forecasts with suppliers and production, and manage inventory classifications.

Required profile

• Result‑driven leader with hands‑on approach and strong accountability culture.
• Excellent communication, high integrity and ability to build effective relationships.
• In‑depth knowledge of production, manufacturing and supply‑chain management.
• Understanding of accounting and finance related to purchasing and inventory control.
• Analytical mindset with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP systems for supply‑chain visibility.
• Strong English proficiency, both written and oral.
