Logistics Coordinator – Equipment & Commodity Transport

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end movement of equipment and commodities for our Energy & Natural Resources programmes. The role ensures that materials are transported efficiently from manufacturers to construction sites or module yards using multi‑modal solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare freight cost estimates to support bid development and cost comparison.
• Participate in project execution planning to design economical logistics strategies.
• Assess suppliers’ transportation approaches for commercial and schedule impact.
• Develop traffic instructions and coordinate with freight forwarding agencies.
• Create project routing guides for routine and less‑than‑truckload (LTL) shipments.
• Provide shipping duration data to scheduling teams for selected transport modes.
• Liaise with transportation regulatory bodies and service providers.
• Draft scopes of work for logistics activities.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating equipment and commodity transfers in a project environment.
• Strong understanding of multi‑modal transport options and freight cost estimation.
• Ability to work with freight forwarders, suppliers and regulatory agencies.
