Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Auditor to support a range of audit projects across operational, financial, and compliance areas. The role involves conducting fieldwork, preparing reports, and collaborating with internal and external audit resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and lead portions of internal audit projects, including operational process reviews, financial reporting assessments, and SOX walkthroughs.
• Perform physical inventory exemption reviews and support annual risk assessments, analytics, and automation initiatives.
• Draft clear audit reports, provide actionable feedback, and communicate findings to business stakeholders.
• Follow up on audit findings and SOX deficiencies, conducting remediation testing as needed.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities within audit processes and business controls, leveraging analytics and automation tools.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting standards, SOX requirements, and audit techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, or corporate finance functions.
• Strong understanding of US SOX requirements, GAAS, and US GAAP.
• Familiarity with business processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and fluency in English.
