Ground Test Engineer

About the role

Safe and efficient execution of ground and flight acceptance tests on series aircraft, supporting production and delivery phases to obtain the Certificate of Airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform GTI static checks, engine destorage, engine run, compass swing, low‑speed taxi checks in cockpit and cabin during production phase.
• Conduct high‑speed taxi checks, rejected take‑offs and cabin tests during first flight and subsequent check flights.
• Execute ground checks and cabin tests in presence of the customer during delivery phase according to the Customer Acceptance Manual.
• Ensure cabin safety during production and customer acceptance flights and provide technical follow‑up in collaboration with the Flight Test Engineer.
• Present technical status to the customer, complete the Aircraft Technical Logbook and sign the Flight Condition Approval Form.

Required profile

• University degree in aeronautics, mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in civil aviation engineering operations.
• Integrity, rigorousness and very good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Engine destorage and engine run procedures.
• Compass swing and low‑speed taxi checks.
• Good understanding of Airbus aircraft systems and their test methods.
