Finance Manager - Controlling

About the role

Kerry is seeking a Finance Manager – Controlling to lead financial control, compliance and governance activities across its operations. You will partner with the regional Shared Service Centre and business stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, support growth initiatives and drive continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with PRC and IFRS standards, coordinating with the Shared Service Centre in Malaysia.
• Oversee statutory filings, including monthly statements, tax returns, statistical reports and annual SAIC reports.
• Manage the annual financial audit process and act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors.
• Develop, monitor and enforce an effective internal controls environment, identifying best practices and embedding them organization‑wide.
• Improve accounting policies, procedures and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and support business growth.
• Support treasury reporting requirements and lead financial aspects of strategic projects.
• Coordinate local operations of the SSC (AP, AR, GL) to ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure readiness for future compliance audits and safeguard company seals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Qualified accountant with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or local equivalent.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and decision‑making abilities.
• Proactive, results‑driven mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
