About the role

As a Field Application Engineer specializing in Silicon Carbide (SiC) bare die, you will support Bosch customers in Shanghai and the wider region. You will ensure successful integration of SiC products into high‑power applications, provide technical training, and act as the bridge between customer needs and Bosch engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical support and troubleshooting for SiC bare die integration.
• Develop and deliver training materials, demonstrations, and application notes for customers and internal teams.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend optimal SiC solutions for specific applications.
• Support the PPAP process for customer projects and maintain strong relationships with key technical contacts.
• Collaborate with product managers to gather market trends, competitor information, and new customer requests.
• Stay current with SiC technology advancements and industry trends.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Vehicle Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SiC bare die electrical properties, switching characteristics, thermal behavior and reliability.
• Familiarity with front‑end and back‑end SiC chip manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of high‑power/high‑voltage applications such as EV inverters and DC‑DC converters.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Willingness to travel as required.
