Engineering Team Leader – CSO Division

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Team Leader for the Compressor Service & Optimization (CSO) division at our Wuxi hub. You will lead life‑cycle projects and product optimisation, acting as the spokesperson for the aftermarket engineering team and coordinating with stakeholders worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver high‑quality engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage daily resources, optimise utilisation and prioritise workloads.
• Provide technical guidance and rapid solutions for ad‑hoc issues and urgent requests.
• Drive key development projects, fostering innovation and execution.
• Maintain strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams in China and Belgium.
• Contribute to multi‑year strategic planning for the CSO engineering team.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and report progress to management.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, promoting a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical or related field.
• Excellent command of English, both oral and written.
• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in product development and familiarity with CSO‑type business models.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Results‑oriented, able to work independently under pressure.
• Willingness to travel for short‑term business trips.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PLM systems.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• CAD software expertise (Inventor or similar).
• Knowledge of CTP 2.0.
