Engineering Maintenance Engineer

About the role

This position provides engineering support for aircraft maintenance, storage, engine work and dismantling projects. The engineer prepares work packages, ensures compliance with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements, and offers technical assistance to mechanics and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and schedule work packages, work orders and documentation in line with customer protocols, AMM, IPC and regulatory rules (CAAC/EASA/NAA).
• Coordinate technical documentation, parts traceability and equipment availability with project managers and procurement teams.
• Provide on‑site technical support, analyse technical problems, and ensure all work is recorded in the ERP system.
• Manage follow‑up of airworthiness directives, generate compliance reports and close work packages with final release documents.

Required profile

• BTS or higher education in Aeronautics, Aeronautical Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (minimum 5‑year degree).
• At least 8 years of experience in aviation maintenance, with 5 years in engineering roles and production planning.
• CCAR Part‑66R3 licence (category TA) with English level 4; Airbus/Boeing type rating preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of aircraft technical documentation (AMM, IPC, work packages).
• Familiarity with aeronautical regulations (Part 145, FAA, CAAC/EASA).
• Proficiency in technical English and map reading.
• Experience with AMOS system and ERP work‑order management.
• Understanding of aircraft structures, strength of materials and general aeronautical principles.
