About the role
The Engineering and Planning Intern will support business, parking and storage activities and assist with interval checks, focusing on dismantling preparation. Main tasks include CAAC job‑card preparation, tools and material planning, man‑hour evaluation and AMOS work‑template creation. The role is based on‑site at Airbus Chengdu’s engineering and planning office.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and prepare detailed and general job cards based on ALS judgment logic.
- Copy, paste and translate AMM content onto ALS job cards, adjusting layout as needed.
- Prepare and archive technical records for aircraft maintenance and dismantling.
- Set up and maintain the AMOS database in line with business and new capability requirements.
- Support tools and material planning, man‑hour evaluation and CAAC job‑card preparation.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the manager.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Maintenance, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Computer or a related field.
- Preferable but not mandatory aeronautical maintenance experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English with technical English proficiency.
- Basic knowledge of aircraft technical documents and general aeronautical concepts.
- CCAR Part‑66R3 licence is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with Python programming.
- Experience using AMOS database/software.
