Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and safety of our production equipment. The role involves planning maintenance activities, troubleshooting electrical systems, and supporting plant expansion projects.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate annual work objectives and perform HSE duties.
• Develop and execute a master maintenance plan for production equipment, including preventive maintenance and safety hazard elimination.
• Identify spare parts, manage inventory, and maintain spare‑parts lists.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and emergency repairs on workshop machines such as DMG MORI CNC tools, sheet‑metal benders, and plastic cutting equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, PLCs, inverters, servo systems and sensors to minimise downtime.
• Guide operators on safe equipment use, perform daily electrical inspections and enforce safety procedures.
• Manage URS, change control, installation, commissioning, acceptance and hand‑over of new production equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation including electrical drawings, PLC programs and parameter sheets.
• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and analyse OEE, MTBF and MTTR to improve equipment reliability.
• Build a fault knowledge base, produce analysis reports and drive equipment improvement initiatives.
• Provide electrical skill training for maintenance technicians.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or related field.
• Valid Low‑Voltage Electrician Certificate and relevant electrical maintenance qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or automated equipment commissioning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and control principles for production equipment.
• Proven ability to independently inspect, repair and commission PLCs, servo drives, inverters and electrical circuits.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and emergency troubleshooting.
